Pyrgadikia

Pyrgadikia is a lovely seaside village that was established in 1926, following the destruction of Asia Minor, by refugees who arrived from the village Afthoni, which was on the island of Marmara in the Black Sea.

The village, which has an exceptional layout, is built on a hillside that starts on the seaside and moves upward, with an amazing view of Mount Athos and the Sithonia Peninsula. All the houses face the picturesque port and Siggitikos Bay. The overall ambience resembles an island, with charming inlets and beaches with crystal-clear waters.

The village square and small port compose an idyllic backdrop with tavernas where visitors can enjoy fresh fish and traditional local dishes.
