The Municipal Enterprise for the Exploitation of Tourist Properties of the Municipality of Aristotle (AXTADA S.A.) commenced its operation in October 2008, when it took over the commercial operations of the Municipality of Stagira-Akanthos. In January 2011, in accordance with the Code of Municipalities and Communities the Municipalities of Arnaia, Panagia and Stagira-Akanthos were consolidated and AXTADA took over the commercial activities of the new Municipality of Aristotle. The S.A. companies of the public and broader public sector operate pursuant to Law 4548\/2018 and the Municipal Codes of Laws 3463\/2006 and 3852\/2010. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The registered office of AXTADA S.A. is in Ierissos and its headquarters are housed in the Cultural Center, at 2, Agiou Nikolaou St., Ierissos, Halkidiki. The company\u2019s duration is set at thirty (30) years. The company may, with a decision of its Board of Directors, establish domestic branches and determine their duties, competences, extent of jurisdiction and general terms of operation. The company\u2019s equity is 949,600 Euro. It is administered by a Board of Directors that consists of five (5) members who, together with their substitutes, are appointed by the Municipal Council for a term that shall not exceed five (5) years. It employs a full-time staff of seven (7); in the summer, it employees 15 additional seasonal workers and also collaborates with external associates.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The company\u2019s scope includes:<\/h5>\n

The utilization of municipal real estate assets and exploitation thereof in any way (by leasing of spaces, installations or establishments to third parties, the direct exercise of business activities in the sectors of tourism, hospitality, camping site operation, catering, recreation and entertainment, car park operation, excursions and travel, and any other related activity), as well as the exploitation of communal spaces.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
