In 1997, the Pan-Macedonian Women\u2019s Organization of Ierissos gifted to the Municipality of Stagira-Akanthos objects and personal photographs of its members representing and depicting everyday life in Ierissos in the previous century, to form the foundation for the Folklore Museum. Since 2003, the Folklore Museum is housed in the Cultural Center, in an area especially constructed and arranged to resemble an old Ierissos home. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Wander through this beautiful space, admire the images, tools, utensils, furnishings, appliances, embroidery, textiles, and clothing from a previous era, splendid examples of the daily lives of local residents. The original photographs adorning the walls recall bygone times, sprinkled with the nostalgia and dreams of regular, everyday folk.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
